Like any fluorescent paint (just due to the tendency of fluorescents in general) MTN 94 Fluorescent spray paints have a lower opacity level (2 out of 5). Furthermore, again due to the nature of fluorescents in general, they also have low UV resistance (1 out of 4) – meaning they fade faster than normal colors. This is why we suggest using the MTN 94 Fluorescents in conjunction with Montana Colors PROline White Base Primer. MTN Colors Primer ensures maximum adhesion to the surface being coated, and provides an even base to bring out the brightest most solid coverage of MTN 94 Fluorescent spray paint.  One last tip, if you are using this on fine artwork, or even an outdoor graffiti piece accent, we also recommend coating at least the Fluorescent areas of your work with MTN Colors PROline Varnishes which have UV protectant in them.  This added clear coat will help the Fluorescent spray paint resist fading longer than without it.

Over the years, Montana Colors has developed a line of transparent spray paint colors that should be in every fine artist’s and graffiti artist’s toolkit. Originally designed as part of the MTN Alien line of spray paint, Montana Colors shifted the Transparent spray paint into the MTN 94 line, improved their function and even increased their size to the typical 400ml spray can. The primary reason that MTN 94 Transparents were created were to give artists a tool for adding amazing controlled detail to their works.
